Voting Will be by Mail
The November 3, 2009 election will be conducted as an all-mail-ballot election. Ballots will be mailed out October 13-16, 2009 to all active voters and to all inactive voters who did not vote in 2008. You will have to put 61 cents on your ballot to mail it.
Update Your Address!
It is very important that we have your current address, as ballots are not forwarded. If you have had a recent address change, please go to the Secretary of State website to look up your address on file and make sure it is current. Your deadline to update your information is 5 p.m., October 5, 2009. Use the Voter Registration Application to update your address.

Voter Service Centers
Denver will have two full-service voter service centers available for walk-in service for the November 2009 election:
- Denver Elections Division, 3888 E. Mexico Ave.
- Wellington Webb Building, Atrium, 201 W. Colfax Ave.
Service center operating hours:
- 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Mon., Oct. 26 – Sat., Oct. 31
- 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Mon., Nov. 2
- 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Election Day, Tue., Nov. 3
At a service center, you may:
- drop off your ballot
- obtain a replacement for a lost or spoiled ballot
- vote provisionally
- or emergency register if you are qualified.
